Designed with CFD and VR, proven in the wind tunnel with 2x Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard, the Giro Aerohead II Mips is Giro's most aerodynamic time trial helmet ever. With the protection of Mips® Air Node, a lightweight and ventilated solution for rotational energy management CE and CPSC safety standards are met and exceeded. Visibility is optimized with a magnetically attached oversized eye shield that is positioned away from the rider's face, allowing air to flow over the brow and beneath the Roc Loc® 5 Air fit system. Each Aerohead II comes with two eye shields (Clear and Vivid® Smoke) and a padded carrying pod. Engineered speed — the Aerohead II is your advantage.

• The two‐piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.
• The Mips® Air Node system is a low‐friction layer laminated onto the base of the comfort padding, and is a lightweight and highly ventilated solution to reduce rotational energy. It is connected to the energy‐absorbing liner with nodes of hook‐and‐loop fabric touch fasteners. At angled impacts, the nodes are designed to release locally, allowing the padding to slide and reduce rotational motion to the head.
• In addition to helping to optimize stability and cooling airflow through the helmet, the micro‐adjustable ergonomic and compact dial allows riders to adjust vertical positioning and tune the contact points independently for a customized fit with exceptional comfort.
• Giro's proprietary Super Fit sizing system is based on "human scale factors" data and over 25 years of handcrafting helmets. By creating helmet molds in up to 4 adult sizes to match the human body's form, our Super Fit sizes comfortably and securely fit riders, and feel like they are custom made just for you.
• Giro helmets are developed utilizing our proprietary Wind Tunnel™ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet's shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust fresh, cool air over and around the rider's head while forcing heat and stale air out.
